What you'll be doing:
• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting Magento websites, ranging from theming, to building custom modules;
• System Integrations (i.e. Web to ERP) Using SDKs or APIs or custom;
• Designing, developing and implementing custom web applications in a LAMP stack;
• Participating in project estimations and assessments;
• Participating in project discovery or requirement gathering meetings/calls;
• Onsite SEO optimizations;

• Minimum 3 to 4+ years' experience in Magento front-end, back-end development and administration;
• Excellent knowledge of magento APIs;
• Excellent knowledge of Responsive;
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in PHP development;
• Knowledge of other programming languages would be an asset;
• Strong knowledge of eCommerce in general;
• Strong knowledge of web security and best practices;
• Strong knowledge of APIs and integration methods;
• Strong knowledge in relational databases;
• Good knowledge of Magento ecosystem (extensions, licensing, features, version functionality);
• Good knowledge of SEO best practices and magento functionality supporting SEO;
• Good knowledge of other open source platforms (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal);
• Good knowledge of SVN and GIT;
• Fair knowledge of Linux environments;
• Knows and implements best software development practices;
• Strong analytical sense to understand and analyze customer requirements;
• Knowledge of accounting or ERP packages for integration is an asset;
• Experience with project collaboration tools, like basecamp and/or assembla is an asset;
• Ability to communicate in both English and French (oral and written);
• Is able to work alone or in a team;
• Conscientious and proactive (able to raise questions to accommodate best practices, instead of just doing what they're told);
• Has great work ethics, is respectful of people and also business processes;
• Is punctual and considerate;
